With the successful completion of the largest ever education and
careers exhibition in Colombo last weekend, EDEX Expo will be coming to
Kandy today and tomorrow at the Kandy City Centre.
There will be over 75 local and foreign institutes providing
Educational, Training and Skill Development and Career opportunities at
the event in Kandy for youth in the area.
This will be the seventh consecutive year that EDEX Expo is being
presented in Kandy, and among the main highlights will be the special
offers available such as spot admissions to foreign and local university
courses, Special discounts on course fees, Full and partial
scholarships, Student loans, Job Offers, free career guidance seminars,
Higher Education guidance, Professional and vocational Training courses,
Green Education and careers stalls and much more.
Special arrangement have been made for students in the satellite
cities to Kandy such as Matale and Kurunegala also to visit the EDEX
Expo at KCC, Kandy.
A separate book donation campaign will also be carried out at Expo
premises where General Public in the Kandy City and Suburbs are invited
to bring in their re-useable books to be donated to needy students in
rural areas in the country conducted by the Live Your Dream platform of
EDEX.
The Chief Minister of Central Province T. B. Ekanayake and Governor
Central Province, Tikiri Kobbekaduwa will be the special invitees for
the opening ceremony. |
