NEXT School of Business General Manager Kumudu Abeywardene said 'this
is another record set by NEXT! We are so proud that we could rewrite
history yet again with such super pass rates. Many students think that
assignment subjects are difficult, but I can tell them to think again!
We always believed in doing the right thing and coaching the students in
the right way, today results speak louder than words'.
She said 'we attribute this success to our expert panel of lecturers
who are real marketing practitioners. They perform in leading
multinational and local companies in very senior marketing seats or as
CEOs. Hence who else can teach a practical subject like marketing
better? Students who are with us know the structural process we follow
and how we motivate students to start the assignment early for best
results'.
Accordingly to official CIM UK results, NEXT recorded an impressive
pass rate of 81% for all assignment subjects; this consisted a pass rate
of 87% in stage one (against 66% of other institutes), 72% for stage 2
(others 61%) and 83% for stage 3 (51% for others) subjects. Abeywardene
said 'we boldly claim that students have a greater chance of passing CIM
1st time with NEXT, and we will always live up to that claim.'
Commenting on individual brilliance of each lecturer she said 'I'm
proud to mention that the subjects handled by Dusty Alahakoon recorded
the best ever pass rates. For Marketing Information & Research (MIR) the
pass rate was 96% (others institutes 70%), for Project Management (PMIM)
the pass rate was 97% (other institutes 51%) and for Corporate
Reputation Management (MCR) it was 94% (other institutes 53%). This is
an all-time record that brings pride to CIM Sri Lanka Region too. Other
panel members Reyaz Jeffrey, Bertram Paul, Tharanga Gunasekara and
Thusitha Abeysekara produced equally brilliant results to keep the
averages as high as 80% in all assignment subjects'.
