Former National Coach Balendra Anthony will take on the role of Technical Director of the Academy and the coaching responsibilities.

A free workshop will be undertaken to allow the opportunity for potential students and parents to experience the environment that training will be undertaken and also to have direct discussions with the coaching team and organizers about the training models and other technical and administrative plans.

The Academy will primarily focus on Kids between age groups nine to thirteen years with a view of developing and enhancing their core skills, techniques and discipline. According to the organizers, it is also one of the core objectives of Austasia, Action Sports and the Coaching Team to ensure that 'fully rounded individuals' are developed and groomed with a view of facing society in a professional and disciplined manner.

Individual progress reports will be maintained of all enlisted academy students with regular performance review meetings expected to be undertaken with their respective parents or guardians. Students joining the academy will be privileged to experience the game of indoor soccer (Futsal) in only

'International Indoor Arena' in Sri Lanka and thus increase their opportunities to pursuing additional avenues of Indoor Futsal.

The Indoor Arena will also mean there are no interruptions to training or coaching sessions thus allowing a continuous process of development as planned. Furthermore the environment, which is of International Standards will allow for a certainly positive atmosphere for both Students and parents who accompany their children for training.

All applications will be subject to an interview and a pre-screening process to ensure that the expectations of the students, parents and coaching staff are aligned and thereby ensuring effective progress during coaching sessions.
