Dharmasoka enters quarters

Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda won their pre-quater final match
against Sri Sumangala College Panadura by nine runs to enter the
quarter-finals of the schools under-13 division one cricket tournament
on Saturday.
The Sokians, opting to bat, were bowled out for 137 in just 29 overs
with spinner Lasitha Shehala capturing four wickets for 19 runs and
Budhdhimal Ilanga capturing three wickets for nineteen.
The Sokian skipper Kaweesh Pushpakumara was the only batsman to
impress, scoring 44 runs in 56 balls which included five boundaries and
a six.
Janith Nayanantha and vice captain Sasith Jayalath captured three
wickets each to restrict the Sri Sumangala team to 128 runs in 44.4
overs and secured a birth in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
