Foreigner arrested

The Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested a foreign national who engaged in business after visiting Sri Lanka on a tourist visa.

The suspect was arrested at Kurumanveli in the Kalawanchikudi police division while selling clothes on Saturday.

The suspect had garments worth more than Rs 40,000 at the time he was arrested.

He had 18 sarees, 22 salvars, and children's garments.
