NCE workshop on 'ASYCUDA World'
The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) in association
with the Shippers' Academy Colombo (SA) will be conducting a workshop on
"Proposed exports procedure in the ASYCUDA World System (Ver.1.1)",
which will be introduced to all exports from March 2012.
This workshop will be held on February 9 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
at the Sapphire Ball Room of the Ceylon Continental Hotel. This workshop
would be conducted with practical demonstrations of entry framing by Sri
Lanka Customs. Officials from SLPA and BoC will be invited to
participate in the panel.
It is very essential that all exporters and service providers attend
this important educative workshop by nominating a Senior Manager and
Operations Officers from the staff, who could understand basic data
entry operations.
Under the government's e-Sri Lanka initiative, Sri Lanka Customs is
moving towards automation of its activities and are promoting the
trading community to understand the concept of the new operating system.
Registration forms could be downloaded from the NCE website www.nce.lk
Closing date for registration is February 6. |
