Acting External Affairs Minister
Neomal Perera met a Canadian Parliamentary delegation
comprising, Chungsen Leung, M.P. Parliamentary Secretary for
Immigration and Multiculturalism (equivalent to Deputy
Minister), Joe Daniel M.P, and Marlene Gallyot Special
Assistant to Joe Daniel (for Sri Lanka) at the External
Affairs Ministry recently. The two sides held discussions on
a wide range of issues of mutual interest to the two
countries. The team will also visit the Northern Province. |

After the end of terrorism, children
of the Agrabodhi Vidyalaya, Mamaduva, Vavuniya have taken
the opportunity to conduct their education freely. Seven
students got through the Grade Five Scholarship Examination
last year. One student received 172 marks. Golden Stars
Foundation of Ragama provided exercise books and school
equipment for the needy children of the school. Here, a
