Keells launches ‘Fun Lab’

The Keells Fun Lab, a project to promote creativity in children by
unlocking their potential was launched by Keells Food Products PLC to
organize interactive guided sessions with experts in the field.
“This is a pioneering brand idea where the project will involve an
investment of Rs 30 to 40 million to complete the entire stages. As we
have recognized creativity and imagination to be the most important
elements in child development the Keels Fun Lab (KFL) will be an ideal
platform to showcase child expressions, Keells Food Products PLC CEO and
John Keells Group Vice President Nishantha Jayasooriya said.
“Keells Food Products (KFP) has been the industry leaders for the
past 27 years and not only the sausage range, but in the meat food
segment we have been the undisputed leader over the years,” he said.
“Our products have positioned in a dynamic way and others are
benchmarking us. The main focus of the product line is quality,
innovation and differentiation. The products are known for superior
quality and taste while re-inventing and market positioning has the
right placement. The company has a dynamic team to move forward in
product development, marketing and sales.
“The creation of KFL concept also led to the introduction of KFP’s
all new fun combinations, Cheesy Blast and Power snack which consist of
wholesome addition of cheese, dhal and vegetables.
“The two products are a giant step forward in the country’s food
industry. We have become the trend setter and have launched several
products to the market in the recent past. Our brand name acts as a
generic name in the food industry. The research and development
initiatives by the company have made its products well accepted in the
market especially among the children,” Jayasooriya said. |
