NGP Panditharatne passes away

Former Chairman of United National Party N.G.P. Panditharatne passed away yesterday morning after a brief illness. A chartered accountant by profession, Panditharatne functioned as the Director General of the Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka. He was 90.
