Prasad Galhena assumed duties as the Chairman of National Gem and
Jewellery Authority yesterday.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration first class honours
degree from the Colombo University and MBA honours from Colombo
University.
He is also a fellow member of CIMA and past finalist of the Institute
of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka. He has an ambitious plan to develop
the country's gem and jewellery sector as a key export contributor to
