Janishka bowls Trinity to victory

Off spinner Janishka Premasinghe captured a match bag of 10 for 67 to
bowl Trinity College to their fourth outright win for the season when
they beat Wesley College by ten wickets in their schools under 19
cricket tournament match concluded at the Asgiriya Stadium, Kandy
yesterday.
Wesley College in the first innings folded up for 129 with Janishka
Premasinghe taking 5 for 31.
In the second innings they fared a little better by totalling 139
which equalled Trinity's total of 268. They made the one run required
for victory in just one ball. Premasinghe once again bowled well to
capture 5 for 36.
Wesley College 129 all out in 52.2 overs (Sadin Thawfeek 33, Ashane
Kariyawasam 24, Sachin Jayawardene 15, Amrith SriMahan 3 for 37,
Janishka Premasinghe 3 for 37) and 139 all out in 58.2 overs (Sadin
Thawfeek 26, Ashane Kariyawasam 38, Migara Wickremasinghe 32, Amrith
SriMahan 2 for 24, Janishka Premasinghe 5 for 36, Lakshan Jayasinghe 2
for 11).
Trinity College 268 for 8 decl in 50 overs (Nirosha Dickwella 68,
Janishka Premasinghe 36, Bhaghya Pallihawadana 24, Rajitha Jayatunga 28,
Arjuna Jayasinghe 23, Alwin Fernando 26 n.o., Sadin Thawfeek 2 for 50,
Ashane Kariyawasam 2 for 67, Sachin Jayawardena 2 for 27) and 4 for no
