SLPA and Air Force volleyball champions

Sri Lanka Ports Authority and Sri Lanka Air Force emerged champions of the NYSC-Rupavahini Super League Volleyball tournament held at Ruhunu University, Matara on December 30, 2011.

SLPA beat Army 3-0 in the Men's final while Sri Lanka Air Force overcame Foreign Employment Bureau by 4-3 in the women's final. In the men's tournament Air Force and Navy were placed third and fourth while in the women's tournament Navy and Police finished third and fourth respectively. Janith Suraj of SLPA was adjudged the best men's spiker while J H D Prasadini of Air Force was adjudged best Women's spiker. The champion men's and women's teams received a trophy in addition to Rs one lakh each. The runners up of the men's and women's tournaments received a trophy and Rs 75,000 each.

The tournament was organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development in collaboration with Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.
