Sachith Gunatileke, a past pupil of Dharmaraja College, Kandy, will
showcase his paintings at his debut solo art exhibition at the E L
Senanayake Children's Library Auditorium, Kandy, on December 23 and 24.
Sachith's strength lies in portrait painting. He had painted many
well known figures like the presidents, prime ministers and leaders of
nations. His innate talent for drawing was developped under Nimal
Karunaratne's guidance.
His talent had been noted and many had praised him for his gift. His
debut exhibition includes a range of watercolour paintings. It is named
'Sachitra'. |
