Ports Authority take Tier ‘B’ Title

Sri Lanka Ports Authority(SLPA) Sports Club won the Tier B Premier Limited over title when they beat Navy SC by three wickets and witnessed to a comfortable win in the final held at P.Sarawanamuththu Stadium yesterday.

SLPA SC won the toss and chose to field. Dilan Silva scored 82 while Dhanushka Gurusinghe also contributed with 65 runs to lift the Navy Sc’s total but they were bowled out for 206.

SLPA reached the winning target with the help of two half centuries from Dinusha Fernando (81) and Ranesh Perera (54) in the 49th over and tasted the victory.

Navy SC:

206 (Dhanushka Gurusinghe 65, Dilan Silva 82, Anuk de Alwis 3 for 35 , Sanjaya Fernando 2 for 32).

SLPASC:

209/7(Dinusha Fernando 81, Ranesh Perera 54 , Madhawa Perera 2 for 15 , Dulanjala Mendis 2 for 20 , Udara Lakmal 2 for 37).
