Nestle Int'l to invest Rs 2 m in Nestle Lanka

Nestle parent company would invest a further Rs. 2 billion in the next five year towards its Sri Lankan company, Nestle Lanka Limited.

Nestle Lanka Limited Managing Director, Alois Hofbauer said that their parent company had already approved Rs. 10 billion for a period of five years. "Out of this we had already invested Rs. 2 billion last year and a further Rs. 2 billion would be invested next year," he said.

The parent company has approved a further Rs. 2 billion since they were happy in the manner in which Nestle Lanka is progressing.

Nestle Lanka will also open their noodles manufacturing company in Pannala in January.
