Jetwing Lighthouse invests on refurbishment

The Lighthouse Hotel Galle is considering adding another 15 to 20
extra rooms, a new restaurant, a new bar with an extension to the spa
under its expansion plan.
The expansion will begin next year and the total investment for the
expansion has not been finalized yet, Jetwing Hotel sources said.
According to the Colombo Sock Exchange the investment of the new
facilities would also be added to the refurbishment of existing rooms.
Jetwing Lighthouse is 146 km from Colombo's Bandaranaike
International Airport. It is easily accessible from attractions such as
Galle Fort, Galle markets and the shopping street.
Boasting beautiful views of the Indian Ocean, the hilltop Jetwing
Lighthouse is 2 km from Galle's centre. Minimalistic and elegant, this
luxurious colonial-style hotel features four dining options, two outdoor
pools, and a spa.
Jetwing's spacious rooms are equipped with balconies and dressing
rooms. Each room has cable TV, a DVD player, and tea/coffee making
facilities. The attached bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and a shower.
Guests can join a yoga class, exercise in the gym, or play tennis.
The hotel arranges whale watching trips and city tours. Services include
laundry, car rental and currency exchange. Wi-Fi is free throughout the
hotel.

Anchor Bar and Grill serves sandwiches and grilled dishes. Coats of Arm
Bar features a pool table and a library, as well as sweeping ocean
views. The investment will be around Rs 250 million.
