Hayleys enters Magampura Port
US $ 7 million joint venture with Dragon Asia:
Dragon Asia Fertilizer together with their local
partner Hayleys PLC created history at the Ruhunu Magampura Mahinda
Rajapaksa harbour by becoming the first private enterprise to invest
in the Port. The joint venture will invest US $ 7 million for a
fertilizer bagging storage and processing plant.

EMP, Schneider in strategic partnership
Electro Metal Pressings (EMP), a leading
manufacturer of electrical LV panel boards has signed a MOU with
Schneider Electric Sri Lanka which is a global specialist in energy
management. EMP Chairman Chandranandana Diyunuge said this MOU was
signed with a view to become the first Alliance Partner of Schneider
Electric for MV Components Integration and unveil state-of-the-art
medium voltage panels for the booming Sri Lankan market.
