Opens branches in Gampaha, Nugegoda and Moratuwa:

Commercial Credit PLC, recently opened its newest branch on Mangala Road, Gampaha thus bringing its total network across Sri Lanka to 22.

Present on the occasion were Commercial Credit’s Chairperson Vagdevi Fernando, CEO Roshan Egodage and Working Director Geya Egodage. Days prior to this, Commercial Credit PLC also opened new branches on High Level Road, Nugegoda and New Galle Road, Moratuwa.

Commercial Credit thus forges ahead on its trailblazing path, stamping its mark on the country’s financial landscape and continuing its record-breaking story of success and acclaim as it spreads its reach across Sri Lanka.

Tile Collection holds sales conference

The Tile Collection (Pvt) Ltd, a leading tile importing company held its dealer conference recently to recognize its dealer network islandwide.

“We started manufacturing different types of tiles including floor tiles and wall tiles from 1996. We do exports to South Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Mauritius, South Africa and Sri Lanka.

We also have a good market in Indonesia as the country has a 200 million population,” PT. Chang Jui Fang Indonesia (CJFI) Exports Manager Herry Kurniawan told Daily News Business.

“The partnership of Tile Collection in Sri Lanka is growing steadily and we see huge opportunities with the economic and political stability in the country. As Sri Lanka’s middle class is expanding rapidly, there is a readymade market and we focus on capturing this segment,” he said.

“We are satisfied with way Tile Collection is handling the distribution network. They have made their best effort to market our products as well as be the prime agent for us. We export 15 to 20 containers per month to Sri Lanka as we see a continuous demand,” he said.

“Sri Lanka is a fast developing country and there is significant potential for our products. As a manufacturer we are happy that our products are well accepted here and quality and designs are welcomed.

We intend to go in for product expansion where Tile Collection and CJFI can grow together,” he said.

The Sri Lankan government is very supportive toward the international trade and direct air connectivity is an added advantage to further improve trade relationships.

Though Sri Lanka imports similar products from other countries due to high quality and standards we have been able to maintain our volumes,” he said.

Speaking on the partnership with Indonesian tile giant, Tile Collection Sales and Operations Director Shamendra Gunasekera said that the company is successful in maintaining a healthy relationship with CJFI for the past 15 years.

“We import all the products from Indonesia. Our company is the main dealer for CJFI products and our dealer network of 35 dealers is an asset to the company. Hence, it is appropriate that we recognize their contribution to bottom line growth”, he said.
