Gunawardena was suspended from attending Parliament for one week by
Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa yesterday, after he was found to be the
member who behaved in the most disorderly manner during the
presentation of the budget speech by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Vote on second reading of budget today
The vote on the second reading of the
Appropriation Bill 2012 (Budget 2012) will be taken up in Parliament
at 5pm today. President Mahinda Rajapaksa presented the budge 2012
on November 21 and seven days have been alloted for the debate on
the second reading of the Budget.
