Ath Akuru Hodiya
 Prof Bandusena Gunasekara’s latest book Ath Akuru Hodiya Nohot Liyana
Sehella was launched at the Town Hall, Galle, on November 27 at 2 pm.
The launching ceremony will be presided over by Senior Minister for
National Resources Piyasena Gamage.
Southern Provincial Council’s Chief Minister Shan Wijeyalal de Silva,
Galle District MP Manusha Nanayakkara, Galle Urban Council Chairman
Methsiri de Silva, Dr E M Ratnapala and Kamal Sri Liyanage will address
the meeting.
Prof Gunasekara is the author of Sinhala Pada Vahara and Sinhala
Hodiya Denagan Indura. Ath Akuru Hodiya Nohoth Liyana Sehella is a
Dayawansa Jayakody publication.
Sinhala Prastava Pirilu
 Kalasuri Norman Siripala’s latest book, Sinhala Prastava Pirilu
Namavaliya was launched at Dayawansa Jayakody Bookshop, Colombo 10 on
November 22 at 10 am.
Siripala is the author of Janakavi Ashritha Janakatha, Sinhala
Janakaviye Samaja Darshanaya, and Janakavi Adyanaya.
Sinhala Prastava Pirilu Namavaliya is a Dayawansa Jayakody
publication.
Family Christmas Concert
Family Christmas Concert by the Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka will
be held on December 3, at Ladies’ College hall at 7pm. Concert includes
the Menaka Singers and it will be conducted by Ajit Abeysekera. |
