Rains hit N’eliya cultivations

The continuous rain and strong winds in around Nuwara Eliya district had destroyed large extent of vegetable and potato cultivations. Several earthslips were also reported from around the city, with one at Radella and the other near the Hakgala Botanical Garden.

Meanwhile, tea plantations in Nuwara Eliya have also been affected due to the heavy down pour.
