Tourists nabbed while on selling spree

Six foreigners who were on tourist visa were taken into custody while engaged in sales in Sri Lanka illegally, on information received.

These tourists included four men and two women. While five of they were above 30 years, one was 20 years. The STF has seized 99 saries, 80 salwars,stock of garment and Sri Lankan currency.

The goods and money taken into custody had been valued at around Rs 221,000. Further investigations are being held by the Police.
