Suwa Divi Sarani clinic at Hingurukaduwa MV

The Suwa Divi Sarani mobile health service conducted by the Uva Provincial Health Ministry will be held on November 14 at the Hingurukaduwa Maha Vidyalaya under the patronage of Uva Provincial Chief Minister Shashindra Rajapaksa.

A dental clinic, Ayurveda clinic and skin disease clinic will be included in the mobile service programme. An awareness exhibition on diseases and a diseases research laboratory will also be conducted.

Students of Hingurukaduwa Vidyalaya are to be treated at the dental clinic. Several tests would be conducted for students and adults to screen them for oral cancers.

The laboratory tests will be held to screen them for cancers and non- communicable diseases. Similarly tests would be held to identify diabetes, high blood pressure and tuberculosis.
