MARKSS partners with Thissamaharama Base Hospital

To educate doctors in and around Thissa and Debarawewa:

MARKSS Wellness Campaign, the CSR arm of MARKSS Healthcare, one of the fastest growing pharmaceuticals companies in Sri Lanka, supported the Thissamaharama Base Hospital to coordinate a thematic evening for all the doctors practicing in and around Thissa and Debarawewa.

The thematic evening saw the participation of over 45 doctors working in the Thissamaharama hospital, family practitioners from Hambantota to Katharagama, the medical administrators and the nursing sisters, which made the event extra special.

The thematic discussion was held in the Thissamaharama Base Hospital Auditorium, where Consultant Surgeon Dr. Udaya Samarajeewa, made a presentation followed by a question and answer session.

MARKSS HLC, Medical and CSR Vice President Dr. S Mahakalanda commenting on the event said "It was a unique opportunity for MARKSS to support this type of sessions where the knowledge dissemination is remarkable.

The participation all the way from Hambanthota to Katharagama is worthy of appreciation. I thank Dr Udaya Samarajeewa for his valuable lecture".
