Bopath Falls, major tourist attraction

Bopath Falls which is a very popular tourist attraction in the Sabaragamuwa Province has now become the biggest tourist attraction, with more tourists flocking to experience its scenic beauty.

The Bopath Falls Development Plan initiated and adopted by the Kuruwita Pradeshiya Sabha in 2007 has given a big boost to tourism in the area.

The Pradeshiya Sabha has developed this site by constructing a children’s park, restrooms and other facilities for local and foreign tourists.

The Kuruwita PS earns an extra income by charging a nominal admission from tourists.
