Abdullah - up and coming star

Eight years old Abdullah Manzil of Trinity College Kandy won the boys under-10 title at the All Island Intermediate and Novices Table Tennis Championships held at the S. Thomas’ College gymnasium recently.

The tournament was conducted by Tibhar Sports Club. With just one year’s experience in table tennis, Abdullah is becoming a tough one to beat.

This young paddler displayed some beautiful strokes, despite his tender age and showed that he could be a player to be reckoned with in the near future.
