Man nabbed with 4,750 mgs ganja

A suspect who had 4,750 milligrammes of ganja in his possession was arrested by officers of the Matara Police Fraud Bureau following a raid conducted in Talalla.

He was produced in the Matara magistrate’s court. Meanwhile, 12 suspects were produced before Matara magistrate Udesh Ranatunga for possessing 28,855 milligrammes of ganja were fined Rs. 63,000.
