Department Prof Ariyarathna Athugala receives Defence
Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa at the Tharangani cinema of
the National Film Corporation where the premiere show of the
film “ Matha” was screened recently. This film is centred on
the humanitarian operation which liberated thousands of
innocent civilians who were held hostage by the terrorists.

| Arnold Kulathilake sworn in as Deputy
Mayor of the Dehiwela-Mt Lavinia MC before Mayor Danasiri
Amaratunga. He was elected to the Dehiwala-Mt Lavinia
Municipal Council for the third time. Arnold Kulathilake
expressed his thanks to the voters of Dehiwala-Mt Lavinia,
Rathmalana, Borupana for electing him to this position.
