The awards presentation ceremony of the state Children’s Art Festival
2010 was held recently at Jhon De Silva Memorial theatre under the
patronage of the Cultural and Arts Affairs Minister T.B. Ekanayake.
The art competition was held in two stages, district level and
national level. The competition was held in five age categories.
Primary, Post Primary, Junior, Senior and Post Senior. More than 2000
arts were forwarded for the competition and out of them 215 artists were
awarded and rewarded.
