The Netherlands PUM Experts held a seminar for local businessmen to
discuss business matters to obtain technical assistance to Sri Lankan
businessmen at the Galle Face hotel recently.
PUM Netherlands Sri Lanka Representative S P C Kumarasinghe
introduced the PUM experts who are in Sri Lanka to advise the local
businessmen.
They are PUM Netherlands Senior Experts -Country Coordinator for Sri
Lanka and Thailand Frans Veen, PUM Senior Expert in Asparagus growing
Andre Schoenmakers and PUM Senior Expert in Digital Office Equipment
Gert van der Heijden.
Charge d’ Affairs of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Sri Lanka Bas M
van Noordenne and First Secretary Jaco Beerends also participated.
Sri Lanka has completed nearly 400 projects and this year Sri Lanka
will conduct over 25 projects for the benefit of the local businessmen,
Kumarasinghe said.
Several Sri Lankan businessmen who had obtained PUM Experts’s
assistance spoke at the seminar about their experiences.
Bas M van Noordenne addressing the gathering said that PUM
Netherlands Experts are always ready to help Sri Lankan businessmen to
improve their technical knowledge.
Bandula Hennadige, covering the Central Region of Sri Lanka for PUM
Netherlands Experts also participated at the event. |
