Dr. Anura Chandrasiri’s stage play Dheyyo Sakkhi will be staged at
the Ranmuthugala Japanese temple hall, Kadawatha, on October 29 at 3.30
pm and 6.30 pm.
The play Deyyo Sakkhi is a Satirical Comedy; a pun on our so-called
commercial society. We all start our day with prayers and rituals,
pleading God to fulfill our dreams, desires and aspirations.
What would happen if God (Sakkra) himself appears in our presence...?
The reaction and the interaction of the Mercenaries with the almighty is
the subject of this humorous play.
Bandula Wijeweera, Menike Attanayake, Anoma Kumuduni, Nirmani Perera,
Gunadasa Madurasinghe, Chinthani Hidurangala, Sanath Sri Malsara,
Yasamali Perera, and Chaminda Prasad make up the cast.
The music by Bandula Wijeweera, Costumes by Chinthani Hidurangala and
make up by Jayantha Kapuge.
The play is organized by Priyantha Ranjan and sponsored by Chandana
Sirimangala.
