Sonakshi Sinha to dazzle the city of Sigiriya

She came out with a bang with her first maiden film Dabangg alongside Bollywood megastar Salman Khan which became an instant box office hit. This led her to win many awards and get signed up for other films with leading Indian actors. She is none other than Sonakshi Sinha and she is now down in the country to do a cover photo shoot for the renowned L'Officiel Indian magazine.

Sonakshi before following the footsteps of her father (renowned actor cum politician Shatrugan Sinha), had her footsteps walking on the ramps of Lakme Fashion Week 2008 and 2009. Sonakshi has come with L'Officiel India Editor Ami Patel who together with internationally recognized designer Dinesh Chandrasena will bring out not only the beauty of Sonakshi but also showcase the natural beauty Sri Lanka has to offer to the world with renowned fashion photographer Rohan Shresta. The location they have chosen to take the photo shoot is Sigiriya and they will be staying at the Jetwing Vil Uyana, Sigiriya.

"Thank you for inviting me here, I am looking forward to explore the country. Your country is just like home and as the saying goes 'home is where the heart is'," Sonakshi said when she asked what she felt about Sri Lanka. She also spoke about the films she has signed up for. "I got news that they have signed up for Dabanng 2 just as I arrived to the country and the filming will start March of 2012," she added. She is already filming for three other films such as Rowdy Rathore with Akshay Kumar and directed by Prabu Deva, Joker-a 3-D film directed by Shirish Kunder also starring Akshya Kumar and Race 2.

Along with Sonakshi model cum actor Mohanned Ahmad also came down. Standing 6"3, he is from Saudi Arabia. He came to Dubai 18 years ago and began his modeling career in 2002 and started acting just three year ago. His first film was City of Life taking about the three parallel lives in one city (Dubai), second film was Syrianna, The Kingdom and MI-4 with Tom Cruise.

He has also come in many commercials such as Hyundai, HSBC and Etisalat. Mohanned is a very open minded guy, respects all religions. He loves to read, write and keep himself updated with what's happening in the film industry. He did a course in acting at the New York Academy (Abu Dhabi). He is also a person who likes to be independent and build a life that has privacy. He has five sisters and three brothers who are mostly in the media. "All of them being in the media I am the only one who is in front of the camera," he added.

Though he is single, he is looking forward to get married and he said it doesn't matter who she is as long she can communicate with him and be someone who will be able to organize him.
