Gateway Kandy beats CIS, AIS and Lyceum

Gateway College, Kandy recorded comfortable wins over Colombo International School, Asian International School Colombo and Lyceum International School, Nugegoda at Under 15 Inter-International School Cricket. Gateway Kandy outplayed CIS in all departments to win by 185 runs.

Skipper Nashib Nishthar with an unbeaten century against CIS and Rizan Sheriffodeen with two half centuries against both CIS and AIS performed well with the bat. Uditha Vanigarathna with 4 wickets against CIS bowled well for Gateway. Sachiththa Sooriyabandara with 5 wickets against AIS, 4 wickets against Lyceum and a half century against CIS has so far excelled as an all rounder.

Gateway College Kandy beat CIS Colombo by 185 runs.

Gateway 270 for 5 in 30 overs. Nashib Nishthar 114 not out, Sachiththa Sooriyabandara 57, Rizan Sheriffodeen 55.

CIS Colombo 85 all out in 21.3 overs. T. Adwan 23 Uditha Wanigarathna 4 for 11, Kesara Adikari 2 for 10.

Gateway College Kandy beat AIS by 86 runs.

Gateway 191 all out in 27 overs. Rizan Sheriffodeen 55, Younus Shafeek 35, Nashib Nishthar 25, Milinda Kodituwakku 20, Harshan 2 for 20.

AIS Colombo 105 all out in 20.1 overs. Harshan 23, Isuru 19, Sachiththa Sooriyabandara 5 for 22, Rizan Sheriffodeen 2 for 20.

Gateway College Kandy beat Lyceum Nugegoda by 5 wickets.

Lyceum 110 all out in 25.5 overs. Sahan Gamage 21, Sachiththa Sooriyabandara 4 for 15, Kesara Adikari 3 for 20, Uditha Wanigarathna 3 for 18.

Gateway 111 for 5 in 26.5 overs. Usitha Perera 24, Milinda Kodituwakku 28, Nashib Nishthar 22, Sasika Perera 3 for 16.
