Commercial Bank to promote General Insurance with Chartis
The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has entered into a Memorandum of
Understanding with Chartis Insurance Ltd., to offer General Insurance
products to the Bank's existing and future customers through
Bancassurance.

The agreement envisages that the Bank will offer insurance cover
based on Chartis Insurance products such as 'Accident and Health,'
'Wallet & Liability' and Homeowners Insurance Protection Plans.
The Commercial Bank's extended branch network will make the purchase
of insurance products and the payment of premiums extra convenient and
hassle-free, the Bank said.
Chartis Insurance Managing Director Chris Tragakis said Chartis has a
long history of offering personal insurance solutions to meet the
particular needs of individuals and families worldwide, and its products
and services can be tailored to meet the needs of customers of the
Commercial Bank. |
