Jason Perera helps Bens reach quarter-finals

Two hurricane knocks by left hander Jason Perera helped St Benedict's
to reach the quarter-final stage along with Maris Stella College,
Negombo in the 19th Old Wesleyites organized 'Munchee' sponsored schools
six-a-side tournament on the first day at Campbell Park yesterday.
Perera struck a power packed 76 with three sixes and 12 fours to beat
arch rivals St Joseph's and went on to stroke another 70 against
Dharmapala with three sixes to reach the quarter-final stage of the
tournament first.
