Cannabis seized

A stock of cannabis worth over Rs one million was seized by STF officers attached to STF headquarters on Sunday night at Angoda in Welikada police area.

Acting on a tip off received via STF intelligence ASP, a team of STF officers headed by Sub Inspector H.G.S. Adhikari took into custody 28 kilogrammes of cannabis worth Rs 1,199,340 in the possession of R. Indika Susantha of Kotikawatta, Angoda.

The suspect was handed over to Colombo Narcotic Bureau for further investigations.
