Isipatana rout Kingswood

Isipatana College scored a smashing 47 points (six goals, one try) to nil win over Kingswood college to enter the Milo President's Trophy Schools Under 20 Knockout final at the Royal College Complex grounds yesterday.

Kingswood conceded a 7-0 lead till mid first half, but lost control thereafter with Isipatana finding their fluency. The winners led 33-0 at the breather. They would have piled up more points , but 'Pathana' missed at least three scoring opportunities due to faulty ball handling.

M.S. Saheed opened scoring for Isipatana and the rest followed in rapid succession. Fly half Prasad Devinda, centre A.G.S.L.Fernando, prop Nipuna Devinda, flanker A.P.Dharmadasa and P.Madusanka scored both tries in the second half. Full back Shanaka Kumara gave them the extra points.
