WPRFU Club Rugby Sevens today and tomorrow

The WPRFU inter-club Open Rugby Sevens will be conducted today and tomorrow at Science College grounds, Mount Lavinia.

Twenty-four teams will be competing for the Cup, Plate, Bowl and Shield trophies. Science Maroons, Carlton Sports, Havelocks Bambaras, John Keells SC and Galle RFC will be vying for the Cup Championship. This tournament will serve as a farewell for Sri Lanka ruggerite Sanjeewa Jayasinghe who will be captaining the Science Maroons.

The Cup Champions will receive a cash award of Rs 100,000 while the runner-up will get Rs 50,000.
