Bicycles for resettled families

The Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi handed over bicycles worth nearly Rs 3 million to the newly resettled villagers recently.

Over 210 resettled families in five villages benefited. Measures were also taken to provide musical instruments worth Rs 100,000 to the Mankulam Vidyalaya in Kilinochchi.

The bicycles were handed over to the villagers in Mankulam, Pannikamkulam, Ampakamam, Olumadu and Ambalnargar at a ceremony organized under the directions of Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi Commander Major General Nandana Udawatta.

Brigadier Harin Perera, Brigadier Kuma Pieris and Kusil Gunasekara of the Foundation of Goodness were present.
