UNP candidate joins UPFA

Mohammed Feroz Mohommed Favaz, who was to contest the Colombo Municipal Council on the UNP ticket pledged his support to the UPFA and joined the party on Saturday.

He called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees and pledged to ensure victory for the UPFA and its mayoral candidate Milinda Moragoda.

Moragoda and CMC candidate Mohammed Maharoof, who also joined UPFA recently from the UNP were present on the occasion.
