St. Servatius enter Div. II final

St. Servatius College thrashed Royal College Colombo B by seven wickets to enter the under 15 division two final. The match was played at the BRC ground yesterday.

Batting first, Royal were skittled out for 43 runs in 25.4 overs with Ashen Deemantha taking four wickets for just six runs in his ten overs.

Ramesh Nimantha, Pamod Weerasekera and Isuru Leelaratna took 2 wickets each. St. Servatius reached the winning target in 18.3 overs losing three wickets.

St. Servatius who were demoted to division two in 2009 will be promoted back to division one of the tournament by virtue of this win.
