Awareness programme on Sep 24

The second stage of the provincial correspondents awareness programme organized by the Information Department will commence at the Polonnaruwa District Secretarial on September 24.

The objective of this programme is to help educate provincial correspondents on district-centered development programmes in progress throughout the country. The second programme will be held with the participation of over 70 media personnel in the Polonnaruwa district.

Polonnaruwa District Secretary Nimal Abeysiri and Prof Ariyarathna Etugala will deliver lectures. North Central Province Chief Minister Berty Premalal Dissanayake and Parliamentarian J R P Sooriyapperuma will also participate.
