New Zealand Education Fair on September 17

Sri Lanka in collaboration with Education New Zealand plays host to the New Zealand Education Fair once again this year, inviting students to explore academic opportunities in tertiary education.

Prospective students will have the opportunity to discover a wide sphere of educational opportunities at the fair, which serves as an annual showcase into the tertiary education available in New Zealand.

Those aspiring to engage in higher education overseas will be able to get a clear insight to discover why New Zealand has emerged as the upcoming new destination in the educational landscape.

The New Zealand Education Fair will be held on Saturday, September 17, at Taj Samudra, Colombo from 11 am - 5 pm and will feature 19 New Zealand institutions including five universities, eleven Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics and three private training establishments.

New Zealand offers a wide range of subjects and courses in tertiary education.

It has eight top quality Universities and twenty Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs) that focus on practical, skills-oriented training in areas like hospitality & tourism, design, computers, nursing, fashion and many others.

Private Training Establishments in New Zealand are all quality controlled so students can be confident that their qualifications will be recognized.

With its spectacular sceneries and natural resources, New Zealand is ready to welcome aspiring students who wish to balance work and play, with engaging extracurricular activities, complemented by a supportive and extremely personal academic environment.

Adjusting to a new country takes time, so students shouldn't expect it to be easy right away. They should take advantage of the excellent student support services offered by New Zealand institutions, which can help with important things like finding somewhere to live, opening a bank account and other common day to day necessities.
