BMW's inaugural golf today

BMW must be highly enthusiastic, in that they break fresh grounds, in organizing and conducting for the first time a golf tournament that will be held today (Sept 10) at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC). The sponsors for this inaugural BMW Golf tournament, will be the, Prestige Automobile (Pvt) Ltd, who will be responsible for fostering fellowship amidst cocktails at the conclusion of the tournament.

The maximum number of participants permissable to take part is 230, with 30 slots being reserved for the sponsor's nominees/ invitees.

The tournament within the limit is open to all members, men and ladies who are above 21 years, with a valid handicap, the tournament however will exclude student members from taking part.

Play will proceed in the stable ford format. The men as determined by their handicaps will play in two groups viz; Group 'A'-0-12, Group 'B' 13-20. The ladies handicap will be 0-28.

Two shot gun starts will be held today (Saturday Sept: 10). Participants may register for the morning session schedules at 7.00 am or for the afternoon session scheduled at 1.00 pm.

The awards ceremony will have attractive prizes for the winners.
