initiatives in education through secondary English teaching improvement.
Training and related services comprise a teacher training course in
the secondary English language, consisting of 20 topic-based modules on
key class room issues for select secondary English language teachers
teaching 11 to 18 year old students of government schools in the North
Western Province.
The teachers will be trained in up-to-date learner-centred, activity
based methodology.
Each module will be assessed independently and upon the completion of
all 20 modules the participants will be awarded a British Council
Certificate in Secondary English Language Teaching at the end of the
course.
The official agreement was signed between NDB Bank CEO Russell de Mel
and British Council Country Director Tony Reilly.
