Maharoof joins UPFA
UNP Central Colombo organizer and senior UNPer
Mohammad Maharoof joined the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA)
yesterday. He was among three senior UNPers who were to contest the
Colombo Municipal Council. Maharoof decided to quit the UNP and join
the UPFA thus leaving the party in a crisis.
