The annual awards ceremony at Beruwela Football League took place recently at Zahira College Ground in Dharga Town.The champion and runner-up of the "Super League" Inter Club Soccer Tournament organized by Beruwela FL during the year 2011 with the blessings of the sponsors, received prizes and trophies.

Prior to the award ceremony, the final of the inter club super league soccer tournament between Berbaryn SC and Light House SC was played. Berbaryn SC beat Light House SC by two goals to one. More than 2500 spectators were present to witness the final.

In the same day several champion teams received awards

* Super League Champion and runner-up received "Mobile Max" challenge trophies donated by M Sajeeth Salman.

* Senior League champions Great Stars and runner-up Red Stars SC received league cup.

* Super League Division II champions Light House SC and runner-up United SC received "Gold Cup" challenge trophies donated by A W M Irzan - Gold Club Aluthgama.

* Veterans champions Light House veterans SC and runner-up Dharga United veterans SC received O L M Ziyad Marikkar Memorial challenge cup donated by Natshan Anzar (London).

The presentation of prizes and trophies was held recently under patronage of President of Beruwela FL M S M Fazlan. The chief guest was Western Provincial Council Member Piyal Nishantha de Silva.
