Gas price revision

The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has given its approval to increase the price of a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder of Litro and Laugfs by Rs 156 with effect from midnight yesterday though gas companies demanded that price of a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder should be increased by Rs 570.

The price of a domestic 12.5 kg gas cylinder will be Rs 2,040 with the new price revision.
