National Chamber to send business delegation to Canton Fair

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will send a business delegation of 25 Sri Lankan businessmen to the phase I of the 110th Canton Fair to be held from October 14-21 in Guangzhou, China. the delegation will also spend two days in Bangkok, Thailand. Canton Fair is the China's largest trade fair that attracts a large number of visitors every year. It is a comprehensive and multi-functional event of international importance.

Thousands of China's best foreign trade corporations (enterprises), factories, scientific research institutions, foreign invested enterprises, wholly foreign-owned enterprises and private enterprises with high credibility and sound financial capabilities will take part in Canton Fair. Canton Fair is a good place for the business community to bargain and select good products.

In addition other various types of business activities such as economic and technical cooperation, commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising and consultation will also be carried out in flexible ways. Business people from all over the world will gather in Guangzhou exchanging business information and developing friendship at Canton Fair.

Phase I of the 110th session of the Canton Fair that will be held from 15 - 19 October, 2011 includes displaying large machinery and equipment, small machinery, bicycles, motorcycles, vehicle spare parts, chemical products, hardware, tools, vehicles (outdoor), construction machinery (outdoor), household electrical appliances, consumer electronics, electronic and electrical products, computer and communication products, lighting equipment, building and decoration materials and sanitary and bathroom equipment.

This is a good opportunity for Sri Lankan businessmen to explore business opportunities such as sourcing raw materials at competitive prices, gathering information on new technology and machineries for manufacturing processes, meeting and establishing new business contacts and experiencing of new ways of packaging, displaying and demonstrating products. Those who wish to join the delegation headed by a well experienced delegation leader are invited to join the NCCSL delegation.
