Obama jokes bodyguards will keep boys from daughters

US: US President Barack Obama predicted Tuesday that he would win reelection and joked that he planned to use his Secret Service bodyguards to keep boys away from his two daughters. “When I’m reelected, what I’ll be getting them is a continuation of Secret Service so that, when boys want to start dating them, they are going to be surrounded by men with guns,” he quipped in an interview with CNN.

“That’s their gift,” said Obama, who had been asked what sort of present Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10 could expect if he wins a new four-year term in the November 2012 elections. AFP
